Boeing 737-8 MAX Iran Aseman Airlines
The Boeing 737, known as the Boeing 737, is the most popular plane among the world's airlines. The design of this aircraft started on May 11, 1964 and first flew on April 9, 1967. A year later, it was used in the Lufthansa fleet, and its commercial use began, and since then, more than 10,000 aircraft from different series of this aircraft have been delivered to customers.
Iran Aseman Airlines' contract with Boeing to purchase 30+30 B737 Max jets has experienced no hurdle so far, the managing director of Atiyeh Saba Investment Company, affiliated with Iran’s Civil Servants Pension Organization and owner of the airline, said.
“As per the contract, Boeing is committed to deliver 30 jets…the first is expected to enter the country in two years,” IRNA also quoted Vali Azarnoush as saying.
In June, Aseman signed a final contract with Boeing in Tehran to purchase 30 B737-Max passenger jets worth $3 billion based on catalog prices with the option of adding 30 more in the future.
According to Azarnoush, the American planemaker is set to finance 95% of the deal for the purchase of 30 planes.
“We will purchase 30 more jets, if US officials do not disrupt the contract,” Azarnoush added.
Aseman is the second Iranian airline to order brand new aircraft from Boeing after the lifting of nuclear sanctions in January 2016, as part of the nuclear deal Iran clinched with world powers earlier in 2015.
"The United States' Office for Foreign Assets Control has issued license for Boeing’s deal with Iran Air," deputy minister of roads and urban development for international affairs, Asghar Fakhriyeh-Kashan, said.
In August, an Aseman official told Financial Tribune that Boeing was expecting to receive the OFAC license by the end of September.
On April 15, 2016, the public relations of Asman Airlines announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Boeing for the purchase of at least 30 Boeing 737 Max aircraft worth about 3 billion dollars. But after the withdrawal of the United States from the JCPOA, this agreement was canceled.
This is my first fantasy livery project as promised and I hope I can increase it
