With a couple of modifications to the fuselage at the front as well as doubling the power of the jet engines with added firepower of guided missiles, I give you the Armed Stingray - Mk IV! Mobility can be increased with increasing the size of the rear stabilizers as well as the roll control surfaces. However, that just makes this 'bird' harder to take down, so I highly advise against it. Enter speed lift mode by pushing the VTOL slider up a little past halfway or landing mode by pulling the slider all the way down.
