The boeing 777 commonly known as the triple 7 is a long range airliner designed,developed by boeing supposed to be named the 767X its previous design would be trijet not twinjet but that was cancelled.Dubbed the working together plane since United,American,cathay pacific,british airways and another 4 filled in a questionnaire on what the design should be.They decided it should have the same cross-section as the 747 a glass cockpit and fly by wire system it carried 301-368 passengers in a ten-abreast seating three class.Its launch customer United airlines received its first 777 in 1995 equipped with PW 4000 engines since then it is very popular with the 200 versions being LR (long range) and ER(extended range) and Frieghter.the 300 was longer with the ER version very popular
