How it would look if Aero made a VTOL version of L-159 prototype? This fictional airplane is a modification of Sokol which can compete with Harrier.
Prototype of a two-engine multirole aircraft was made by czechoslovak company Aero in year 1970. It uses L-39 body leghtened by ca. 20% with new delta wings for better stability in supersonic speeds. This is a fictional VTOL version. The prototype used two AL-25 engines and reached speed of M1,4.
It is a spiritual predecessor of the later L-159 ALCA which was built in the 1990s using lightly modified L-39 body.
The model is scaled 1:1 with blue "naval" paint. It uses 2 VTOL engines and 3 RCNs for better maneuverability.
