Nakajima Ki-84-I Ko Hayate (Remake)
Announcement
This build for now is limited for Chii's current challenge, so it has no Cockpit intruments and dashboard. Though i will make a seperate version where it has it, as for when, That idk since holidays are coming.
Although, youre free to build the cockpit yourself.
History
The Ki-84 Hayate (or Type 4 Hayate) was a fighter in replacement for the ever-aging Ki-43 Hayabusa, It was designed to be as agile as the Hayabusa while being even faster and boasting more firepower than its predecessor. It saw alot of action, but its performance was barely managing its original one due to the lower quality parts and gas being used. Nonetheless it was one of the best Fighters the Imperial Japanese Army had.
Variants:
(Coming Soon)

Theyre rather few, but...

Gallery
Image gallery from OllielebananiaCFSP sadly never came, so take this ones from OUGHTO instead. (And damn, looking at these pictures really tells me just how smooth they are.)
Ki-84 Hayate 3.0 VS Ki-84 2.0
Outro
This build sjould be my 2nd challenge after my Kawanishi A8K. Funnily enough, both this and the A8K are both "Remakes".
I somehow managed to build it in less than 500 maximum parts. Though Farewellntchii and I had a deal where if i went over 500 and every 10 parts i get a reduction in merit. Though i feel like youll still reduce it because of having no cockpit details. xD

@Kangy This game has constant speed propellers by default to my knowledge, those propellers have a much more linear thrust-airspeed interaction, up to a certain point of course.
So it having a completely static thrust is not a grave sin imo
@Kangy i do use war thunder for roll and pitch for reference.
.
The trouble for me is the artificial Weight and drag. But i guess ill keep tinkering on it for the variant with cockpit intruments.
@KingOfTypos yes but here’s the thing
You can’t have historical thrust in SP
Props in SP have linear thrust, irl it is less thrust the quicker you get.
You could also have all the mass in one block so the COM is easy to adjust
Roll and pitch wise just find stats or even look at other games like il-2 or war thunder.
@Kangy the "guesses" part was meant for the roll and turn rate., As for the acceleration part. Its either/both the game's weird drag system or/and how the aircraft is 800kg or more, lighter.
.
The engine's horsepower even is already up to the historical one (1990hp), and i believe maoing the aircraft heavier will just make it feel less manuverable. Messing with its current weight also messes up its trim stability pretty badly, it wont fly at level at all.
@KingOfTypos it literally takes off like its on a steam catapult so idk what you mean by guesses
its a good looker it just overperforms
@Farewellntchii i updated the XML file of the plane, i nerfed its turn rate so you might have to redownload it for the "combat" test
Good 10/10
@Kangy i only had my guesses as to how it should perform like, it being japanese made me think it should have great turn rate and roll rate. I also heard that the Hayate is fast and agile. Although, it does turn way too well, so i could update the XML file.
It’s ok I guess
Flies way too well for a ww2 aircraft though.
@JustDragon i doubt ill be the first too, the big guys(platinum users) have yet to come in, and im sure theyre taking their sweet time on building their replicas.
well sh*t, i'm definitely not gonna get first
Im starting to doubt my Heinkek 112
i too,infact, love this plane
