THIS IS NOT THE FINISHED VERSION!!! this version is a prototype with me grappling with physics to try and make it fly. it has 8 engines, and the wings produce almost no lift. it has no yaw stability. it has no pitch, and you are in danger of flat spinning if you try. you can roll, but it is inconsistent for whatever reason. i really need someone to fix this pls halp

@Zoowarp hahaha you are welcome! It was a fun plane to work on
thank you so much!
@Mustang51 you have... completely and utterly fixed it
@Zoowarp hahahaha that makes a lot of sense. I was really confused as to what happened there but it’s all fixed now!
@Mustang51 aha! I think I know what happened...
In the earlier versions, it would load in and spontaneously combust in the wings, so I disabled the wing aircraft collisions... With no effect. I might have disabled wing physics instead!
I'm checking out the post now
@Zoowarp huh when I replaced it lift was suddenly generated so I can’t explain that one. I’ll tag you in the build now
@Mustang51 there are no modded wings for this build? I have a wing mod installed but I didn't use any of the wings from it, and I deactivated the mod when I had problems flying the plane... I don't think I am?
@Zoowarp I just found something out. You’re using some modded wings which provide zero lift. The main wing part you used is essentially useless hahaha. I’ll replace it and upload my one :)
Was also making a draken with similar problems so I might try those changes there too
@Mustang51 would be great to have as a last resort, so post and tag (I'll tag you when I publish it if I use your version) but I will try to fix it myself using your advice first, so I can learn for when I make a different plane. As said, it's not finished yet so I would need to do more on it anyway. If you post it, I might download it and see what you've done to try and understand what changes you have made and why you have made the changes, but I will probably still try solve it for myself. Thanks so much!
@Zoowarp I quickly adjusted it yesterday when I saw it and I think I saved it in case you needed it fixed. Want me to post it unlisted and tag you in it?
@Mustang51 cos I mean I think 1500kg/m^2 is a lot?!! The weight is creating a lot of inertia too
@Mustang51 soooo I removed the engines (bar the 2 at the back, which I set to 0 thrust) and managed to get the weight down to 100,000lbs without overload... No real change when I then did glide tests. The CoM has to be below the CoL on this aircraft or the performance tanks even more, and I had to add another engine closer to the CoM because I didn't want to have to angle the rear engines at 45°. All unnecessary engines have either been set to 0 thrust or removed, depending on whether I'm using the exhaust or not. I will keep looking at lift, I think the wing loading is too high, so thanks for raising the issue of weight!
So first of all I have to say that it looks fantastic. When it comes to its characteristics, it’s far too heavy and has 6 engines extra which it doesn’t need. I would remove all of the extra weight and fuel blocks you added to try and get it to the real EF2000 weight (between 30-50,000lbs). You can also adjust the power of the two engines at the rear. I would also rebalance where the CoM is to have it a good distance away from the CoL but not too far away. I hope this helps but if you have more questions feel free to ask!
