Demoiselle No.20

Demoiselle aircraft of the 1910's.

As featured in the movie "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines or How I Flew from London To Paris in 25 Hours 11 Minutes", flown by Pierre Dubois.

This plane has a camera with pilots view (select "camera 1" view, not "cockpit view", since cockpit is on the seat next to the pilot)

Only has throttle control, elevator and rudder (rudder works with aileron controls). She is a little twitchy around the elevator though. Control stick in cockpit moves accordingly to your controls!

CG was quite a problem to set properly due to almost no weight in front of the wing, but after some time I figured it out quite well. I think.

Give it a try, remember, it won't cost you anything!

Also, it sets a nice and high drag points score, not a big miracle with all these struts and the pilot sitting basically in the air rather than in the aircraft!

Much fun to fly, nice to look at, and it's just great. To quote Todd Howard: "It just works!"

@UTSL What a funny idea! I'm glad you like it, I love the movie, and it really was a lot of work to get everything right, like the proportions, and especially the pilot.
But the bathtub thing would be a funny thing to do, coming soon :D

Oh man I love that movie too! I was thinking to make one of them two days ago, but the references are limited, and i don't have enough time to review the movie again.
I'm wondering if you could make that aircraft which have a bathtub :)
