For the Modified Warplane Air Race, Die Hummel is based off the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 D13 “Dora”. With guns and gear removed, it shaved a bunch of weight. The canopy and some of the fuselage were modified for weight and maintenance purposes. The tuned Junkers Jumo 213 engine now cranks 2175hp, with the Water Methanol injection system that reused the wing fuel tanks to carry more MW50 for longer use of the boost. The rated fuel used is 140 Octane for peak performance. It can maneuver most of the race courses, and it tops around 463mph in a power dive. May not be the quickest or most maneuverable, but you can expect it to finish every race it enters.
