This monster is still a work in progress but I though some of you might enjoy seeing what I've gotten so far. It is possible to take off and fly, though I'm encountering a roll to the right that I cannot trace. Be warned though, it will make most mobile platforms drop to nearly 1 fps.

To take off: adjust the vtol slider up by a half mark (should be between the second and third marks from the top), increase throttle to 100%, after a few seconds detach 1 to drop scaffolding, once a few meters in the air, adjust vtol slider up another mark (now between the top and second mark). You will need to make minor adjustments during this process to keep it level but with this method I can almost always get into the air somewhat steadily.

I tired to get this, but as you warned, my frame rate quickly died.

I found the roll, you have to invert one of the yaw wings

@ElijtheGeat I had been trying for ages to figure out a curve like that. Actually figured it out for the Kalinin K-7 based off of your blimp models. So thanks to you!

I should have made mine longer, like this one. It looks great. Took me a while to figure out how to make the blimp come together at the ends like that. I guess we came up with the same solution.

BTW I'll try the detach later. Love the blimp.

Incredible! I get lift-off around 92 mph w/VTOL at 45% aft, then smooth gliding across the sea at 80 mph. On my antique iPod. More, please!

That is awesome...doesn't slow things down like crazy either (on Mac that is).

Excellent work, flies well. Yes it has a slight roll but that can be mended or overcome. Easy to take off too, just follow the instructions.
