The BoomTek XM-1000 was an experimental, quite stupid 1000mm Close-In Weapons System/Howitzer system built by BoomTek Defense Industries.
Honestly, why would they make this?
BECAUSE THEY CAN
Obviously, this defensive turret had miserably failed due to a plethora of problems and by the fact that 4 people died by testing the platform itself. The plans have been trashed and this is the only one of it's kind that's in full working condition.
The weapon's name speaks for itself.

Another person died in testing. Me. This is so incredibly stupid. It’s like you’re trying to win the cannons at yourself. Unbelievable.
