Real Introduction

The year is 1981. Maywar looks to be slowly growing into a superpower. The US and the USSR would not leave this unnoticed. As both sides go to war in 1982, the United States sends out the call for a new aircraft, capable of destroying ground targets or air targets.
Fairchild has the A-10, and Lockheed has the BD-32. It looks like the A-10 will come out on top, until on May 14th, an A-10 crashes due to structural failure, and the United States Air Force decides that the BD-32 is the best option.
On May 22nd the order is given to produce the BD-32, and already 432 have rolled off production lines, and are sent to the front. The first combat missions of the BD-32 are better than expected. In the first 4 days of combat, it has already destroyed 500+ vehicles, and even a Maywar airfield.
