Impulse Engine Concept

"Alternate propulsion has always been interesting, but this is unprecedented."
Why are you hitting yourself?
This engine fires force pulses at a sturdy armored plate to facilitate forward movement. In this case, the force pulses were created by a modified minigun. The engine has also been sheilded, to contain any stray minigun rounds. For those who are interested, the force is directly related to the weight of the rounds..
Fireguns to activate the engine.
Activator 7 to jettison the impulse core (the minigun, in this case). Press activator 7 to jettison the entire engine (remove the parachutes).

@ToeTips This system only worked before jundroo updated the damage model. A similar concept, that was designed after the update is here.
Instructions unclear, engine keeps blowing up
@ColonelStriker I have tried changing the inputs, and it doesn't work.
Is it possible to set the firing input to throttle? It would be easier if it does that...
EDIT: can you also make a more compact version? Like around 1- 0.5 units small?
@spefyjerbf also sorry for the late reply haha, didnt have internet for a not so short while

I made a plane powered by it and it reaches speeds of up to 400+ mph
That was a clever idea
Well, it has already been established that guns give negative kickback force, and then he discovered that the parachutes (before use) were temporarily immune to gun bullets. Put the 2 together and he came up with this. And, he's @spefyjerbf @AfterShock
You sir, are a genius
I see how you did it it's very clever. How did you find out you could use guns and parachutes like this?
Works underwater!
cool idea again...
Noice
Very cool indeed.
Very interesting.
This pushes the limit of simple planes
Ingenious!!
Just stuck it on a plane: http://www.simpleplanes.com/a/YIL05Y/Gun-Propulsion-by-Spefyjerbf
@AnonyMoose Thanks! Could you also link me to your design? I would like to take a look at it. Also, I have finished the desc.
@saturn28 @EternalDarkness Thanks! I have finished the desc.
aye kinda like mine
A gun-propelled craft. Nice idea.
