Pull Beam Tank
A experimental weapon installed on a rebel tank chassis.
General info
This weapon projects a beam that pulls objects towards its source, it has been most effective as air defence system or area denial system for airspace, it applies a extra force on the aircraft making it less stable and eventually lose control completally and consequently crashing, or, firing short bursts carefully to manipulate or limit a aircrafts movement.
However the beam will decipate and lose strenght with range but this isnt a concern if your target is light, weight plays a big role on the beam's effectiveness, a heavy plane like a Tanker (around 110,00lbs) is able to counter the pulling force and mantain somewhat stable. Thrust power doesn't really matter if the plane is not heavy enough.
In some cases there have been reported parts getting riped of the fuselage while flying low though this eventually ends either you crashing or exploding midair.
Recommended flat terrain for the autoaim to function properly.
Theres also a turret version: Link
