Description

The B-30 "Widow Maker"(Callsign Haze) is a Heavy Bomber jointly developed with The Empire of Canazala(Canazala Heavy Industries) and the Volksian Federation(Volksian Aircraft Development Corporation).

The project required a 20,000lb internal bomb load + a 10,000 lb external bomb load with the ability to fly at 40,000ft and fly non-stop half way around the world with external fuel tanks.

The project began in Mid 1938 with a request from CHI to improve their bomber, VADC then tested and examined the aircraft and found out it had underpowered engines weak landing gear and had discovered some structural weak points with in the tail and wings leading edge, the structural weak points got so bad the tail started shaking uncontrollably after reaching 350mph and the prototype crash landed in a nearby farm suffering moderate damage injuring the navigator, so the VADC decided to build an entirely new aircraft with a lot of improvements which include stronger landing gear, stronger and larger wings, bigger engines, improved bomb bay, armored crew compartments, larger self sealing fuel tanks, improved performance, and since this was developed with volksia the capability to carry the largest bomb in the Volksian inventory the 13500lb "Earth Breaker".

The first prototype flew in early 1939 and started production soon after entering service with the Canazalan air force and the Volksian Air Corps.
