The 440:

The AIRTAXI-440 was built by the request of Island Airways and their NorthSkies Alliance, who wanted a small regional aircraft around the size of the AIRTAXI-340 but with an even shorter takeoff and landing ability, and preferably a jet.
To not mess with perfection the 440 was based on the 340 with a new wing design, stronger chassis, and 4 powerful jet engines.
It entered into service with airlines of the NorthSkies group, including Island Airways with what was at the time the largest single order for a regional jet, The 440 continues to serve in limited numbers even today.
