Blue bird Ornithopter
I have seen some ornithopters on the website so I figured I would give it, thus the bluebird was born.
To control the aircraft:
Wings flap(pitch): mouse up/down
wing warping (roll) Mouse side to side
I built this aircraft so I could find a way to make a controllable aircraft without traditional control surfaces. (No elevators or ailerons) I decided to handle turning by warping the wingtips using several rotator axes trying to mimic how real birds warp their wings. Pitch is controlled from a central rotator that rotates the wings, pitching the main wings up like a real bird
It can climb and gain altitude without the use of the propellor but it is a little annoying to get the hang of it.
please let me know what I can improve or change in the comments.
