is it the fastest plane ever? no where close
Would it be more effecient to use just a single BFE150? very much so
Do I care? hell no
the J-3 phoenix is a sleek aircraft using engine pods totaling in 8 J50 engines.
along with thos engines comes a split wing tip design to give it grat roll stabliity and rate.
as well as 8 air brakes which intestning at about 8500-8900 feet altitude reduced it from over 1k top flat speed to below 500mph.
Its not hte most effecient plane out there nor the prettiest one.
but for a simplistic non cosmetic crazy design. its fun to fly and looks good while doing so
