F-33 Hellcat II Neo Mk.IV
Fixed small panel gaps, streamlined surfaces, and fixed minor instability while taking off.
Design cues are taken from F-15. Cockpit from F-5E
Formation and NAV lights positions are true to life
Operation:Engine on: At the bottom left of the aircraft’s instrument panel are the three buttons that control the aircraft’s engines. Push the red circle buttons to start, they should light up. The yellow square button to the left of those activates reverse thrust, should also light up; throttle for reverse thrust is VTOL.
Weapon Systems: To swap between ON/OFF, Air-to-Air, Air-to-Ground, flip the switch directly under a small green light. To activate the different weapons, there is a switch panel with orange switches that activate them. On the left is ATA, the right is ATG, and in the middle activates bombs or torpedoes, depending on what is equipped. On that same line, are several gray switches that act as one. They open the cockpit.
Lights: To the right of the jump-seat on a panel parallel to the floor are several multi-colored buttons each one with a text box indicating their purpose.
Specs: Top speed: 878mph @26,370Ft(Fully loaded, weapons & fuel)Thrust to weight ratio is like 2.7 ish so its pretty quick. Pretty nimble, Can pull up to 9g in a simple 180° and 10g in a Split-S
Additional information:There are two torpedoes behind the aircraft that are detached but are set up to replace the Boom 25. WSO does not serve any function other than cosmetic and aerodynamics. The aircraft and its foils are tuned to provide maximum stability at all speeds. The rise of the nose at speeds is practically non-existent. At low speeds if you set trim to about -1/2 give or take a little bit, you can fly at 230-310mph without any nose drop or rise.
Notes:Part count is under 1000 so it should be mobile friendly, it runs without lag on my 13 Pro, but I’m not going to mark it as mobile friendly because it might not run as smoothly on all devices. A few minor parts are sourced from other builds and some I cant find anymore so I don’t know who to credit.
During hard cornering it is recommended that do NOT slam the joystick back, ease into it because sometimes it takes you into a flat spin.
Also my first post. Ever.
As I learn more about the game, I will release updated versions of the aircraft.
Mk.5 coming soon
