GBU-12 Paveway II

Find info about the GBU-12 here

Recreated with working rear stabilizers that extend on launch. Unfortunately, guided bombs just aren't possible, so I used a super scaled down Cleaver.

How to Use
  • Grab the bomb by the most forward gold fuselage
  • Save as a subassembly

Credit to ChrisPy for the rear stabilizer fix!

Hey, I know you weren’t talking to me, but I don’t quite understand how you make your GBUs. I have tried for hours and hours, time and time again to reverse engineer them...but I can’t! Would you mind explaining how you do it? I didn’t quite understand what you wrote there. Thank you. @Dimkal

How about to make a "Powered JDAM" from this?

@Dimkal I'll keep that in mind. I dont plan on remaking this thing a third time, but in the future I plan on making a full suite of ALL the GBUs and I'll definitely try this out

@Macoly just make sure the bomb is attached to your aircraft, select "GBU-12" from the Air to Ground menu, lock in target, and launch.

@auxitt Excellent work on dimensions and specifications. Because, I'm one of the few guys here that I'm really interested in air-to-ground weapons, you can have a look on my builds and see many GBUs and you can find the way to make them free-fall air-glide precision-guided munitions. The secret is to finely adjust the position of a zero speed missile inside the bomb so that it has stability and good glide ratio...Send me a message if you want extra info or unlisted weapons to work on and further develop them!

@Macoly forgot to put in my post, but the gold fuselage you see on the top of the bomb goes onto your plane. Make sure, using the connection manager, that only the forward gold fuselage is connected to your plane. Other than that, it should work fine with multiple bombs. Any other issues might be something to do with SP
