The Blue Angels aerobatic team is the only one in the world that belongs to naval aviation. It was officially established in April 1946, a year after the end of World War II, with headquarters at the Jacksonville Naval Air Training Station in Florida. The Blue Angels were built seven years earlier than the Thunderbirds and were one of the earliest aerobatic demonstration teams in the world
