The Martin Aeronautics X-5 Duster is a ground attack based aircraft with air-to-air dogfighting capabilities. It comes equipped with 4x aim-9L sidewinders, 28x rocket pods, and 4x 20 mm nose mounted machine guns for both air and ground destruction.
The aircraft features large, Hershey bar flat bottom primary wings for maximum low speed handling. The aircraft was never intended for top speed, but it has plenty of power to get itself out of sticky situations. It also features a large canopy to allow for optimal observation of enemy movement. The aircraft’s design did take inspiration from the ov-10 bronco.
