stationary steam engine

Stationary steam engine I tinkered around with for a couple of hours. This engine is a single cylinder, double acting. This means that pressurized steam is shot into the cylinder on both sides with the correct timing, allowing the piston to be powered the whole cycle. I couldnt get the crankshaft short enough to attach the valve directly to the cylinder so I ran it separate, with a steam line going to each side of the cylinder. The boiler is pretty simple, turn the valve to let steam through the main line, the engine will start automatically. This is done by slowly moving VTOL up to max. It runs smoothly at full speed and will run slower, although its a bit clanky. Enjoy!
