Focke Wulf FW-190 A-8 (v1.3)
Author Notes
PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE FLYING (HIGH FIDELITY)
After 2 years of on and off building, I finally decided that it would be better to release this then let it sit dust for another year, so here it is, the Fw-190A-8 with all the bells and whistles. This plane has way too many features to list on this post right now, so I highly recommend reading the user manual (linked below) if you want a full overview of all the systems on this plane. Arguably one of the highest fidelity cockpits on the website, so enjoy!
Many thanks to @PlanariaLab for the six-DoF control base used for the cockpit camera. Also, thanks to @MisterT for the g-effects.
This plane will see regular(ish) updates so stay tuned to see further improvements to this craft.

simpleplanes DCS Collab
i cant wait for bf-109 pls make it
I guess SimplePlanes it’s just the non-free of DCS world now
What the hell is this? I’m playing on mobile. This isn’t supposed to be DCS world. Jesus Christ.
You know what fuck it I’m pressing every button
I would be fighting P 51 Mustang
By the time I takeoff, the Soviets would already be in Berlin
Also, also also also also really, really really really really really hard because I’m left-handed and on mobile
I’m not a German I can’t read the thing I can’t press the button
What do you think this is DCS world
From the makers of DCS world

In the pinned comment there is an arcade version which has no complicated procedures. @JoJoSans1
can you make a version where we don't need to be a Luftwaffe pilot to use this
How did you get so much detail into the starting up and flying. I wanna make a really detailed cockpit, especially the generator, idle throttle and temperature gauges. Would you mind explaining how you do this stuff?
@CoolPeach not only are you the best WW2 aircraft creator on this site (imo), but you're also one of the chillest from what I've seen, thank you for all the enjoyment you've given us!!
Feel free, no need to credit if it's just something small.
@Auroren13
CoolPeach, is it ok if I use some parts in my upcoming planes to make it less time consuming to build (I will shout you out in the description of the planes that have (let’s say the knobs that got different weapons arm) so I don’t have copyright if you find some of your parts)?
@ThomasHeuisler had trouble starting it up too. It's easy now. First, turn the oxygen valve. Then go to the buttons next to the oxygen valve, find the buttons generator, ignition, battery, and instrument power and turn them on. Get to ur left and turn on the Power Governor Automation switch. Next on the throttle, press the bottom part of Drezhl 2 times. Not the top. Then go to ur right and you will see the buttons for the tanks. Turn all of them on except the C1. After that, bring up the fuel valve and turn on magnetos. Then go all the way to ur left and you will see a big yellow button. Thats the fuel prime. Click it 7 to 10 times. After that click the throttle, theres something on the bottom of the throttle that makes it go idle once u press it. Then bring up the inertia starter for 15 seconds then release. It's complicated lmao.
@CoolPeach
Ahh
Inhales
NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRD!
.
looks nice :)
I didn’t, I made most of it on PC, just uploaded from iOS @TheCaper
Hmm, it should always move up when you press it cause that’s literally all it does. Are you sure your not pressing the push to talk button on the left? Here’s an image for reference. If it still doesn’t work after this then I really don’t know what’s going on
@ThomasHeuisler
@CoolPeach yes, i press that, and nothing happens. doesnt move, no lights come on, nothing.
