F-16A Block-20
Description
Block-20 was a special modification made for the Republic of China (aka Taiwan) Air Force. It includes several upgrades to its weapons load and its radar capabilities. These modifications put this special group of A and B Variants at a level on par with Block-50 and Block-52 F-16s. Other upgrade plans have modernized the planes even further. Those planes are now designated Block-72.
The Airframe
6656, serial number 93-0757, entered service with the ROCAF on an unknown date, but it was confirmed to be operating with the air force around August 1999, and it has been known to be operating as of late 2004. Around 2022, the plane was converted to one of the previously-mentioned Block-72 aircraft, giving it many enhancements found on the most modern F-16s built.
