6.6 years ago
One of the most widely used aircraft of WWII, the P-40 was used heavily in both the Pacific and North Africa. The American Volunteer Group used P-40s with shark faces on the nose that were eventually associated with the P-40 in general. Although the aircraft was successful in the early war, by 1944 the P-40 was outclassed by better aircraft such as the P-51 and the P-47. This replica features a shark face and 6 machine guns.
