F/A-2MTL Garuda II
Hi guys, long time no see. I'm back with my newest creation, I hope you like it.
This is a fictional plane I made
Lore:
The F/A-2MTL Garuda II is a major modification of the F-2 Garuda. MTL stands for “Modifikasi Tingkat Lanjut” or "Advanced Modification".
The Indonesian Air Force has expressed dissatisfaction with the F-2 aircraft, citing several shortcomings. Among these are the aircraft's unreliability and the expensive maintenance costs, due to the engine being fuel inefficient. Additionally, because of the aircraft's high speed, causing damage to its stealth coating. The F-2 also has limited ability to attack ground targets, insufficient space in the weapons bay resulting in a lack of weapon variety, and difficulties integrating new weapons. In response to these issues, PTDI plans to make significant modifications to the F-2 better to meet the needs of the Indonesian Air Force.
However, this large-scale modification project requires substantial funds, and PTDI is actively seeking additional partners to support and fund the project. Several ASEAN countries have expressed interest in the project, with Singapore and Thailand committing to providing financial assistance, and Malaysia planning to send technicians to work on the project.
After five years of development and research, the prototype, named X-02-10, was finally completed. It took another five months before the prototype could fly for the first time. In this modification, the airframe was redesigned to meet the given requirements. EOTS and IRST were integrated to enhance air-to-air and air-to-ground capabilities, they also added HMD to increase pilot capability. The aircraft underwent several tests, including maneuverability tests, close combat capabilities, long-range combat capabilities, and air-to-ground capabilities. The prototype performed well in those tests, with excellent results. After passing numerous tests and trials, the prototype finally entered the initial production phase. The aircraft was officially named F/A-2MTL "Garuda II".
The Indonesian Air Force plans to purchase 50 units of this aircraft, Malaysia and Thailand plan to purchase 30 units each, and Singapore plans to purchase 24.
This aircraft is equipped with the following weapons:
- 2x BVR-21 Arjuna: beyond-visual-range missiles capable of engaging long-range targets (created by @DwiAngkasa Aeronautics)
- 2x SRAAM-01X: medium to close-range missiles with excellent maneuverability
- 2x GBU-12: precision-guided munitions bomb (created by @Beefy)
All of these weapons are stored inside the aircraft's weapon bay.
Additionally, the F/A-2MTL can carry additional payloads on its wings. However, this increases its radar cross-section. To address this issue, the engineer planned to design an Enclosed Weapon Pod (EWP) to reduce the RCS, the EWP will carry 4 additional missiles or 3 additional medium-sized precision-guided munitions bomb

Looks like if the F-22 and F-35 did a fusion dance.
@DTMF duh, bisa aj sepuh 🙏
Sepuh is back! 🙌
@Stephengraffam221022222 Yeah, the design is a mix between F-22 and F-35
