The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 (NATO reporting name: Fishbed) is a 3rd generation supersonic jet fighter and interceptor aircraft, designed by the Mikoyan-Gurevich Design Bureau in the Soviet Union.
Its nicknames include: "balalaika", because its planform resembles the stringed musical instrument of the same name; "Olówek", Polish for "pencil", due to the shape of its fuselage, and "Én Bac", meaning "silver swallow", in Vietnamese.

So first off, let's get things out of the way.

Does it fly?

Yes. Very smooth.

Does it have weapons?

Kind of. Only a cleaver.

Does it have a functional afterburner?

Definitely.

Is it 25 parts or less?

Yes.

Is it stable with the vanilla autopilot?

nods

Does it look anything like a Fishbed?

Uhhh...

Is it jam-packed with features?

Err... No.

Did you waste 6 hours for this?

Also yes.

Did you use a real blueprint to create this?

Pretty much.

It isn't as long as the actual Fishbed though, as the real Fishbed is 16 meters long.

Normal SP controls.

Afterburner engages above 94% throttle.

Afterburner from behind.

Jet engines don't have a flame coming out of their exhaust when the afterburner isn't engaged. Just realism. Also, pretty cool sunrise, huh? :)

Barrel roll.

Takeoff.

Landing fail because I suck.

Also, this is my first proper build so bear with me. I know it probably sucks.

@PssyalperdnaEgg Thank you! I had a dilemma trying to conserve parts while also making it look like the real thing.

I am aware that I got the horizontal stabilizers wrong. Too much parts to fit in one rotator.

Very nice! Mine is also inspired in part by the Fishbed.
