History
At around April in 2189 the Sesqetchian Space Force had ordered a new massive dreadnaught to be constructed to combat the Kinoran capital ship the Opeus 2, this ship was 4.7 kilometres long and had the heavy armour and powerful weaponry the Opeus 2 had. It finished construction in at an unknown date and entered service in late 2192. Its first display of force was at the battle of Rivious on November 7th 2192 where it wiped out a small fleet of Kinoran ships with ease and pounded Kinoran ground forces with its 2 anti ship Lasers. A week later 3 Opeus 1 B’s arrived and forced the dreadnaught away, even though it could easily win the damage it would take would affect it In its fight with the Opeus 2. it participated in other small fights but mainly was always hunting the Opeus 2, both ships crew new a fight would end badly for both sides and wore reluctant to engage though after the captain was replaced by a hardened veteran of Star ship combat the Emsings new mission was to hunt and destroy the Opeus 2 at all costs. During the last year of the war in February 2193, the Kinorans led by there massive fleet of ships had pushed deep into Sesqetchian territory and wore heading for the capital ,Emsing. The Aptly named Emsing class dreadnaught was assigned to defend the city and this is where the first and last encounter between the Sesqetchian and Kinoran Dreadnaughts took place. In the early morning of June 11th 2198, The Opeus 2 and a fleet comprising of 5 Opeus 1 b’s, 7 Opeus 1 a’s and many supporting ships arrived at the City and stopped 20 kilometres away. The Emsing and it’s massive fleet of ships arrived at the other side of the city and a fight immediately followed. By 7:30 pm both dreadnaughts had been heavily damaged with both there shields destroyed and both barely able to fly. The Opeus had been Recharging it’s 2 of 6 remaining Siege cannons the whole fight and they wore ready to fire, though the Emsing was hiding behind the Opeus to avoid the guns. After some bombing runs on the Emsings engines the Opeus turned around and fired 1 cannon into the broadside of the Emsing ripping apart the ships super structure and after a few minutes the other was fired into the Center of the Emsing detonating many ammo storages and causing the meltdown of the nuclear reactor at the ships core. Luckily many precautions and failsafes stoped the reactor from leaking radiation though it’s power output was limited and the Emsing crashed to the ground. This is where the behemoth resides today as a monument to the horrors of war and the thousands of lives lost in the battle this ship was in. As for the Opeus, it was so heavily damaged it returned to the orbital construction yards it was built in and is currently under repairs and being refitted with new state of the art weaponry.
Yeah so I essentially Just made most of the history part up as I went along so it’s not structured good and is just kinda me spilling my thoughts into text, have fun reading.
