[FICTIONAL]

Built as a "nuke tosser", D-7's combat role was to strike enemy targets with small, free-falling nuclear munitions, and defend itself from enemy fighters afterwards. Equipped with a decently powerful radar and being able to reach high speeds with the help of it's cutting-edge fuel efficient afterburning engine, D-7 could also work part-time as an interceptor, and if needed, a multirole fighter. Even though it's dogfighting capabilities aren't good, this fighter is a must-fly for the [...] pilots, as it's considered a good trainer aircraft. Technically, it's a "successor" to the failed D-143, but it's a separate design based off the D-6.
