When the JAF wanted an economical COunter-INsurgency (COIN) attack aircraft to fight the anti-successionist movement on the newly acquired island territories, the Northern Aircraft Corporation (NAC) married two fuselages from their popular T-8 trainer to come up with the A-8. Crewed by a pilot and navigator/weapons operator, the "Twin Defender," with its economical turbo-prop engines can loiter for long periods, attacking ground targets with missiles, bombs or rockets and even take on pesky drones with its four .50 cal machine guns. @Jolteon, thanks, it was a pretty fun project, a return to fictional aircraft and inspired by the F-82 Twin Mustang.
This is so cool! Great work man!
