A.47 Skycity

The A.47 Skycity... well she's big. Built to carry up to 3,654 passengers, she very much is a city of the sky. This bird would be crewed by 30 - 50 personnel, including flight operations and passenger services. She even includes a forward lounge and restaurant for first class passengers on the second level, with a view and everything (the larger window in the nose). Cruising altitude for efficiency is between 20,000 and 35,000 feet. Please, comments and suggestion are both welcomed and desired!

Her engines are designed to be a little more fun. They will need to be spooled up, that is, allowing the turbine fans to activate and get up to speed before initiating thrust, requiring 2 activation groups to be enabled (well, technically just the AG with the actual jets but that's boring). She is a huge bird, so don't expect to pull off a great number of stunts in this beast.

AG 1 - Spool up turbine fans (this should take between 15 and 20 seconds)
AG 2 - Engine ignition (the actual jets)
AG 3 - Navigation lights
AG 4 - Anti-collision lights
AG 5 - Landing brake thrusters (brake input)
AG 7 - Reverse thrust (for runway taxi)

For take-off, flaps (VTOL) to half down, and spool up the fans, giving her about 20 seconds. Full throttle, and activate engine thrust. Rotate at 260mph... early rotation will dramatically increase her necessary speed for take-off, and will overrun the runway.

For landing, flaps and trim to full down, throttle at 40%, and guide her on down. Ensure landing brake thrusters are ready for action for a quicker stop. Thanks to her large number of landing gear mounts and the pod-based set-up, she can take very hard landings.

@fleia262 Hmmmm... That is a pretty good point. Hopefully you will figure out how to overcome that problem one way or another, even if it might take quite a while.

@Boeing777x id like to, but I've run into an in-game issue, really heavy builds making the rotators and pistons wobble excessively... even with xml tinkering its an issue I need to overcome before making an even bigger bird.

@fleia262 The pleasure is all mine, buddy. But, is it remotely possible for you to do something even larger still in the future, say like a quadruple decker? Just a yes or no question.

@Boeing777x I am so happy you like it! The biggest challenge by far was figuring out what to do to the nose of the bird so it wouldn't be so ugly like real life triple-deckers lol
