Complete with 4 missiles (Activators 1 through 4) and 2 bombs (activator 5). VTOL up to retract gears. Note that with the bombs attached the plane dives slightly but flies level when the ordinances have been expended. Enjoy.

17.4k karlosdarkness@Authros I'm pretty sure the Prop from this aircraft found its way onto my latest plane, would just like to thank you for your contributions to the community: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/qFR7ru/Vintage-Naval-Strike-Aircraft-v1-19.4 years ago

718 JaySto@Authros I ended up taking your S-3 Viking's front gear and it did the trick nicely for my Comet, quite a bit more compact and robust too. Thanks for sharing your magic with the community!9.5 years ago

72.5k Authros@JaySto Yes, no problem. I believe this particular gear set isn't the most stable and there isn't an easy way to improve it without create a new one or being able to mod the existing one in xml. The best thing to do is make sure there isn't any excess downforce on the wheels during take off and landing to reduce the wobble.9.5 years ago

718 JaySto@Authros - I'm working on a plane and wanted to check it's ok to use your gear from this (and also the prop/engine from the P-51) please? Will credit of course! I've got the front gear integrated nicely into a dh.88 Comet but it can get a bit wobbly at high speed, any suggestions? Thanks.9.5 years ago

72.5k Authros@Rohan Mine a usually customised to the build. Walrus has some on his parts uploads that might work better for you. The wing parts of the gears are attached to the rotator already so it shouldn't attach to the wings.9.5 years ago
-
37.2k RohanOhh ok! I saw this landing gear thing where you build your plane around it. I used the euro fighter landing gear and I'd did not work. I think it attached to the wings though. @Authros9.5 years ago
-
72.5k Authros@Rohan I made it myself. If you find the rotators that control them feel free to pull them out and reuse.9.5 years ago

37.2k RohanWhere did you get the landing gear?9.5 years ago

72.5k Authros@Superdude hehe, well actually the other way around. I made this first then used the body to create my P51D. There are some significant differences in the design though, and this is a real modern day combat aircraft that has only be on service for a couple of years.9.6 years ago

318 IlovesthecheesesNice except u just took a north American p51 d mustang strapped on some bombs and missiles and changed the color and name9.6 years ago
