The Marauder tank was used by the Global Liberation Army(GLA) in command and conquer general. It was the bigger cousin of the lighter Scorpion tank, and was the heaviest tank of the GLA.The Marauder tank was more heavily armored than the Scorpion tank, and was armed with a more powerful cannon. The cannon could be upgraded by using parts salvaged from destroyed vehicles. The first upgrade increased the cannon's rate of fire, while the second upgrade added a second cannon as well as further increasing the rate of fire. The Marauder tank had no turret, making it more of an assault gun than a conventional tank. Because of this, the entire tank had to turn and face the target in order to fire. As a result, the Marauder could not fire while moving unless the target was directly in front of it. This made the Marauder especially vulnerable while retreating or against fast-moving units.
