The Britten-Norman Defender is the military variant of the civilian bushplane Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander. First flight was in 1970. It is in service in the British Army Air Corps and several smaller air and police forces around the world.
Four pylons were added as hardpoints under the wings. This replica wears the colours of the British Army. It is armed for ground attacks.
