A.C. 2

13.7k airlinerbuilder  3.1 years ago

after quite a long time heres the second model of the A.C. series.
Characteristics
i'ts a absolutely enormous flying boat capable to fly from yeager to wright consuming 2% of it's fuel at 750+ km/h carrying and insane amount of passengers.
Features
The plane in terms of features it's almost identical to it's smaller brother because this model was supposed to fix the major issues of the A.C.1, but there is a very special feature (that you can notice when watching the third screenshot), this is in fact my first posted aircraft designed to carry another plane. if you want to know more about why i added this feature read the pinned comment (i don't want an extra long description)
Controls
The controls are almost the same as the A.C. 1:
AG1= reverse thrust, AG2= steer right, AG3= steer left, AG4=landing lights

Hope you will enjoy it :)

-So, why i added that special feature? It's because i wanted It to be a little more realistic, this plane is almost as large as a cruise liner, so if a pilot doesn't have a lot of experience landing and moving the plane in specific ports it can be dangerous. I decided to borrow from ships the idea of boarding another pilot that perfectly knows how to act in a specific port. As you can imagine the landing pad on the back can be used both for the second pilot boarding and also for a crew change during long distance flights or maybe also as an emergency measure.

-Now the second part of the comment, you can see i added a drawing in the second screenshot. Would you like to see more of these in my future posts? Also It includes a reference to a movie, you can try to understand wich movie if you want ;)

@Boeing777x thank you so much :), i'm glad you liked it. Also i want to say that the A.C. 3 Is going to take a lot more to make, i think that i could possibly post It before the end of the year but for now i'll focus more on smaller projects.

Wow. I really have to say, this big leviathan of a plane has turned out fantastic if I do say so myself. You really outdid yourself this time. I'm so proud of you, bro. Now all that's left to do is build A.C. 3. And as someone who likes big stuff in general, I believe it would only be fitting for the final A.C. to be THE biggest and best of them all, much bigger than this one. Because I did give you the idea of 3 planes with 4, 5, and 6 decks with this one being in the middle of 1 and 3.
