welcome to the electric plane challenge! We all know that electric is one of the most realistic futuristic propulsion for aircraft and now you have to build one plane of this type. These are the rules: 1=only XML mods are allowed, 2= the plane must have a maximum of 2000 parts and a minimum of 100, 3= the plane must be 100% electric so no fuel allowed (P.S. you can build a hybrid plane but the propulsion need to be given mainly by the electric engine), 4= The engine need to be as easy to modify as possible (i'll tell you why later), 5= you can build both fictional designs or replicas. The plane will be judged basing on: 1 aspect: how does it look? 2 flight performance: does it fly like a real plane? 3 capabilities: what it can do basing on what type of plane is? (airliner, cargo plane..) 4 special features: what has it special to offer?. These are the prizes: 1 place= 30 upvotes, 2 place= 20 upvotes, 3 place= 10 upvotes; all the other design will get at least 1 upvote. P.S. if the engine on the plane has a good performance i will give you a 5 upvote bonus and it will be used on a new electric airliner that i am developing. the deadline is 30 january 2021

For those who don't know how to create a electric engine here's a fast tutorial: first take a rotator (the big one not the small one) then modify it, setting it's input to sum(Throttle*20) (in the input you can insert any numer replacing 20 basing on how much power you need) and increasing a lot the power whit the overload mod. when you did that build a propeller whit blocks, fuselage and wing parts and it's done (this tutorial is perfect for propellers but can be applied on fans too)

@RandomDisplay well obviously it isn't an electric aircraft properly but it wouldn't break the rules so it would be allowed

btw, is something like this could be valid for this challenge?

@Cabbage17 perfect, anyway that BAe-146 was a airbus project where they would apply a electric engine on the plane (unfortunitely it got cancelled)

@Caat2 man you have to download the challenge and build with the downloaded cockpit, after you can post the creation. If you already built the plane just make it a subassembly and apply the subassembly to the downloaded cockpit

@airlinerbuilder ok thats fine. By the way do i just have a link to this to submit it? Because im almost done and also the reason i asked the last question is due to the fact that my e engines broke when ever i gave it power
