Galeforce Aircraft is proud to present the Rhode Island V1. This is my first attempt at a compact jet airplane. It is surprisingly hard to get an airplane to fly successfully, so I was quite pleased that the Rhode Island turned out the way it did. However, despite an hour or so tinkering with weight distribution, there are some minor altitude control at low speed. It likes to climb a little ways by itself, but I’ve found this could be remedied by simply going faster. Take off speed will have to be around 260 mph and top speed is around 525 mph.
