In 1947, a group of scientists from Messershmitt tested a prototype model which consists of delta wings, trike landing gear and a push prop to save costs. The result is unexpected: The plane can reach over 600mph! Clearly impressed, Messershmitt weaponized the thing and started mass producing it under the name, Me-266. The engineers claim that this fighter will leave the allied jet planes in the dust
