Description:
The JBP Tiger Owl is an advanced stealth interceptor and fighter developed by JBP Aviation in partnership with the Air Force of New Kiwiara. It is designed to shoot down Nautican spy planes and battleships in the war of the Kaipara without being noticed by their radar or by the eyes and ears of the soldiers.(more about this shortly…)
Inspiration
My design is not a direct replica of the Boeing Bird of Prey, but it shares a lot of design elements such as the main wings and the fuselage cross section.
Like the Boeing Bird of Prey, the whole idea around my design is the same: The Bird of Prey was designed as a test frame for new stealth technology, my Tiger Owl is designed to use that technology in a fictional universe.
Ultimate Stealth:
The entire fuselage of the Tiger Owl is designed to have virtually no radar cross section. The angles of the fuselage deflects 95% of the radar waves away from the source and another 4.99% is absorbed by the paint. This makes the Tiger Owl 99.99% invisible to radar but to be invisible to human senses, the radar absorbing paint can change color (not in Simpleplanes though) to match the background it is seen against. To reduce sound, the engine nozzle is shaped to cause as little noise as possible.
With all of this considered, the enemy will never see it coming!
New Kiwiara
New Kiwiara is a relatively large island country south of the Taranic Ocean. It's closest neighbor is Nautica, the largest country on the closest continent south west of New Kiwiara.
New Kiwiara is the most dominant power in the Sea of Ryushu with several military bases on islands near Taluva.
Today New Kiwiara is at war in the Kaipara against Nautica. This story and it's history will be told now:
Lore:
1. The Peace
In 1957 a large oil reserve was discovered in the Kaipara (the channel between New Kiwiara and Nautica) by a group of explorers from New Kiwiara. At the time both countries were colonized by Ruskovia who used most of the resources themselves. After both countries received their independence in 1968 (New Kiwiara) and 1972 (Nautica), they decided to share the oil reserve 50-50 by creating an alliance and the K.O.E.C. (Kiwautican Oil Extraction Corp.) in 1973. In accordance to the alliance , all oil was stored on a small island in the middle of the Kaipara where K.O.E.C. was responsible for dividing it between countries. Each country was responsible for the distribution and refinement of their share of oil.
This system worked well…until it didn’t.
2. The Betrayal
Over the years the management of K.O.E.C. became more and more Nautican. The government of Nautica used this to their advantage by bribing the management to slowly increase Nautica’s percentage of the total oil share and faking the statistics. This scam worked for several years until New Kiwiara became suspicious in 2019. After some investigation they found that their oil share shrunk to 40%.
3. The War
According to the oil alliance of 1973 if one of the two countries were to brake the 50-50 share rule, the other could declare war and the K.O.E.C. will cease to exist. Without the alliance and K.O.E.C., any country could take any of the oil reserves with as much violence as they needed. Battleships and naval based aircraft from both countries rushed to claim as much of the oil as they could and the battle of Kaipara started.
At first Nautica had the advantage as they had a stronger economy and military from stealing all that oil. Nautica also had better radar technology which made it extremely difficult for New Kiwiara to defend the little they had and to claim more.
4. The Comeback
New Kiwiara needed something that attacked without warning and would not need to disappear because it would never be discovered. They needed a stealth fighter.
The specifications were sent to all New Kiwiara’s aircraft manufacturers and one came back with the answer: JBP Aviation with their Tiger Owl.
5. The Tiger Owl
This aircraft is not special in any other way than stealth. It is designed to be a stealth interceptor that could also do some dogfighting. However, it would only need to engage in a dogfight if it was discovered and it's design made it both invisible to the best radar of the time as well as all human senses in a radius grater than 1000 m. In simple terms: neither you nor your equipment could see it coming or going.
The Tiger Owl was equipped with 4x Velox 150 air to air missiles and a newly developed top secret weapon, the Lightspear mk. I, a powerful laser cannon that could slice through any battleship of the time.
The Tiger Owl had a top speed of about 1 mach and cruising speed of about 0.8 mach.
It didn’t have lots of agility and the interior was a bit rushed on the first versions delivered to the A.F.N.K. (Air Force of New Kiwiara). Everything worked well and it was a great success during testing.
Since it was developed on the far northern island of New Kiwiara, it needed air to air refueling to increase the range to the Kaipara.

All normal flight controls with the exception of Yaw which only steers the aircraft on the runway. Brakes control the airbrakes and wheel brakes.
This aircraft has no flaps and no trim.

Successful mission without even being noticed.

P.S.
While I was shooting the USS Beast for the images strangely they did not shoot back at me or target me as they usually do. I don't know how but my build obtained real stealth!

@Mitterbin Aw thanks!
I was starting to think this was a complete failure
Wow, perfect stealth plane I like a fuselage and laser
Thanks @DrakonDynamics 😥no results though
@DrakonDynamics can you perhaps spotlight this. My followers are all inactive and I uploaded this at a very weird time. Thank you
