AMA XF-17B Mutant
Designer: ATLAS MILITARY AVIATION
Year of Development: 2020
Type: Prototype fighter aircraft
The XF-17B Mutant started out as a scrapyard project. It consists of a slightly redesigned Super Mantis fuselage, the canards, vertical tail, and engines of a Vixen, the elevators from a Sabrewolf, and the wings of a CFA-32 Hemlock. It was decided to produce this aircraft as a back up airframe since ATLAS has a surplus of Sabrewolves, Vixens, and Hemlocks to raid spare parts. It is also equipped with powerful integrated ECM equipment.
Controls:
Standard aircraft controls
Vtol for flaps
Trim for trim
Ag-7 to eject
Weapon bays will automatically open depending on the missile selected
Countermeasures to use Inbuilt ECM.
Note: the ECM has enough charge for 27 uses.
