JS Hagikaze (DDG 102) is a guided-missile destroyer of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). It is the fourth ship in the Akizuki class and was commissioned on March 22, 2014. The ship is homeported at the Maizuru Naval Base and operates primarily in the Pacific Ocean. Its primary role is to provide security and defense for Japan and its allies. JS Hagikaze is equipped with various missile systems, guns, and anti ship missile as well as sensors and communication equipment. The ship is manned by approximately 200 crew members and is equipped with advanced technology and capabilities to conduct surface warfare, anti-Ship, and air defense operations.
