The P-65F Cardinal is the Ospretanian Air Forces first jet fighter aircraft in service, made after breakthroughs in aerodyanamics and Aerospace research, the OAF figured out they could compress the air inside a funell to create thrust, and thus the P-65F was the first aircraft designed to undertake this new idea, and prove it could be a reality. After less than 5 months of testing, and 4 prototypes, the P-65F Cardinal entered service as the main fighter aircraft for the OAF. Going up against slower, weaker propeller driven aircraft of its time, the P-65F Cardinal excelled as the fastest and most maneuverable plane on the planet, being an energy fighter also, it dominates in the 320-400kt range. It has no problem staying in it either because of its massive engine, that is also mounted at a 5°degree downward angle. With 5 50. Cals mounted to the nose, it was a very dangerous aircraft to combat. It goes down in history as the OAF’s first jet fighter.
