The KAF-X is a single-engined 5.5th-generation aircraft, the jack-of-all-trades, with every weapon needed to destroy just about any target it faces.
Air-to-air, air-to-ship, and air-to-ground, all in a stealthy and silent package.
With its highly fuel-efficient and exhaust cooled engines, it can fly far into enemy territory without being seen on radar or IR sensors.

Lore

After Koltobanian spies spotted the new Lyankan aircraft like the DRA-49, and the DRA-22A, Koltobania's Defence Force and National Guard set into motion a new stealth aircraft program to counter the rising threat.

Development

In 2018, the KAF-X was first built and test-flown over the Rockhill Development and Testing Plant under the name "Junior Spirit". The aircraft had a few notable issues at first, like unstable yaw and wobbliness, which was fixed on the 5th flight.
The KAF had a total of 350 test flights and the data gathered ironed out errors and flight instability.
It was fitted with two fully digital computer screens and sensor equipment.

Operational History

The KAF-X was first entered into service in 2020 followed by two operations, it first struck two targets in Lyankan territory, and the second operation had it shoot down enemy bombers and tanks, in both it never got detected on radar or IR sensors.

Current History

The KAF-X still operates today but on a smaller scale.
There are currently 80 of them built and production has been halted until it's needed.

Fun Facts

Engineers nicknamed it "The Frog" because of how the large landing gear resembled a frog's legs.

This KAF-X could be capable of dogfighting because it's lifting body design gives it the capability of high-g turns, but that was never tested.

Notes
This was supposed to be an earlier generation of stealth fighters akin to the F-117, but I wanted it to fit in a more modern role to combat Lyanka's fighters and it was already too late to redesign it so I had to stick with this 😭

I put some wings in the bottom space to act as a lifting body. Because of this it acts like a mini Avro Vulcan and could possibly hold its own in a dogfight lol.
