Sub Hunter

Given recent requirements to reduce deck space in use on board ship the Admirals asked for more space saving technology. This submarine hunter flies low and slow over the seas and is easier and cheaper to operate than an equivalent helicopter despite having a greater range/payload/time on station. The wings now fold up and over and then fold backwards keeping the space used when parked on deck too the bare minimum. Proposed strike variants are also available with different engine and payload layouts, but without firm orders no prototype aircraft of this nature have yet to be built.

@TheLazyFlyer glitchy paint is down to the part blending, only work round is all fuselage parts to be the same paint.
@MasterOscar that's more than likely what the strike version will have, bigger gruntier engines, oh and a few more weapons.
Definitely an interesting concept. I really like the folding wing design It has good handling. The only thing I ended up doing was switching out engines for more power
@karlosdarkness nice design
I still think I like the original idea better. :)
