Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II /Mk.2
[Read Description]
This is an updated version of my F-35 that includes a turning rear engine and retractable landing gear.
[How to use it]
Press 1 to engage VTOL/hover mode. When taking off, throttle up to no more than 40%. Then wait 5-10 seconds and then throttle up to about 50%. Now slowly toggle the VTOL switch back to the middle and throttle up to 100%. Press 1 again to deactivate VTOL and deactivate the RCN (optional).
Press 2 and slide the VTOL switch down to raise the landing gear.
[!]
For some reason the plane sometimes likes to roll and yaw. I don't know what causes this problem and I don't know how to solve it but it sometimes is there and it sometimes isn't. It might be a bug. If you know how to fix it, suggestions are welcome! I hope it doesn't cause too much trouble. Have a nice flight!

18.6k Teus@Matthew240 Oh sorry. Uhm, try to build most of the thing using wings. Get some good images and blueprints and replicate every perspective off the craft. I don't really have any other tips. I hope it's helpfull.9.4 years ago

25.2k A5mod3usVTOL is tough, but that seems to be par for the course for VTOL models. Flight characteristics are a little sensitive, but once I got used to it, I found it a blast to fly. Flying through the canyon in this baby at 450mph is a hoot. The build quality is exceptional, and about as close as you could probably get to the real thing I think. Great job!9.7 years ago

742 WeirdheadedRedbeard@Teus gladly, @Night raider you're right about that one. I just had it happen to my War Frog. It keeps failing to upload but I'll "submit it for the approval of the midnight society" as soon as it let's me.9.7 years ago
-
3,141 Nightraider@Teus usually for me on my other planes sometimes the roll is caused by the rotators moving objects into wing parts and breaking the planes physics.9.7 years ago
