EP-01C Super Block Elite is a radical upgrade of Generic Enemy Airforce's premier trainer. Its performance exceeds many existing designs fielded for actual combat. Fortunately for the Redshirt Airforce, this type was not approved for mass production for reasons like: "too radical", "too flamboyant", and "just a glorified trainer".

I disagree. With enough modding, 2 engines is far better than 6.
It would be fun to fly for sure, but not so fun to chase down a rogue AI flying this :p.
2 engines isn't enough, you could have easily given it 6. one at the front of the plane, one at the back, two at the front of the engine pods and two at the back
