Ob.21B1 ''Firefly-M''
Ob.21B1 is a supersonic late 3-th generation prototype of multirole fighter aircraft of Republican New-Ardennes Air Force.
Production name - "Firefly-M", main changes - variable geometry wing, stabilators, advansed avionics, extended fuel tanks and more powerful engine.
According to the official version of New-Ardennes Supreme Admiralty (NA government), this aircraft and its blueprints were received from the group of people, which are close to russian Ministry of Defence (sounds pretty strange for post-apocalypse world, right?). After few modifications this fighter was transferred to mass production as the replacement of original Pr.21B4. Moreover, variable geometry wing adds a possibility to use it as catapult-based naval multirole fighter after some landing systems changing.
Armament (on this variant):
- 1x 23-mm doubled autogun
- 4x R-73 short-range missiles
- 2x K-77M or R-77 (RVV-AE) medium-range missiles
Controls:
1 - autopilot
4 - navigation lights
5 - afterburners
6 - clean all pylons
7 - release/retract false target
8 - wing transformation
Special thanks to ShockRF for his "ReS-20 Rapier" aircraft. (90% of Firefly-M is Rapier)
