The last of the inner planets and closest to the sun, Mercury, now gains its own skybox-type simulator. During the day, Mercurys temperatures can reach up to 810° F (427° C), second only to Venus. At night, meanwhile, the planet’s surface can plummet down to a spine-chilling -279° (-173°), all thanks to it’s lack of atmosphere, not unlike our own Moon, only slightly larger and nearly twice the mass and density.
Secrets: In the Sky, Can you make out Venus and Earth?
