It actually goes Mach 2 unarmed, with the weapons it is a few hundred short of mach 2. #1 quick manuver mode #2 Brake turn mode #3-7 releases pylons. Quick manuver mode should not be used above 30,000 feet, flight ceiling is 100,000 feet and take off/ landing speed is 450/250 so it doesn't like carriers very much but it will take off from the beast if you retract the gear and pull up just as you leave the deck.
