8.5 years ago
Initially developed as a long range strategic bomber to fly alongside the Quetzicoatl, the SAUN-14 (Allied code name- Jabberwocky) had a longer range and a higher maximum altitude than the He-500, however at the cost of a smaller payload, the SAUN 14 eventually was reoutfitted to be a ground support aircraft with a 152MM howitzer cannon protruding from the left side of the aircraft. Often nicknamed "Hades" the SAUN 14 became a vital core in assisting Axis troops with its combination of bombs and Howitzer.
